The South Carolina State House Grounds
Spring is the perfect time to enjoy the South Carolina State House grounds. From the beautiful gardens full of blooming flowers and fragrant shrubs to the numerous historical markers and monuments all around the Capitol Building, there is much to experience.
If you are unable to get to Columbia to see the State House grounds in person, use our map of the monuments and markers to "walk" the grounds online. Simply click on the numbers to see a picture and get a description of each monument or marker.
